Art as nourishment of the Being

An important clarification is needed in this tumultuous period where perhaps various human beings have lost the moral and ethical compass that guides the very meaning of HUMANITY. Art (of any form) as such, is intrinsically and indissolubly CULTURE. Culture means Evolution, Integration, it is the cornerstone on which every civilization was born, evolved and thrived. In the era of Kali Yuga we want to make it decay, like all our civilization, downgrading the Arts as ENTERTAINMENT, hobby, pastime. Gentlemen, entertainment and pastimes, with all due respect, are video games, cards, billiards, bowls or a game of X sport seen on the sofa.

Who makes Art may seem a useless dreamer, but he will have given your Soul more than you think you have taken. He allowed civilization to remain in harmony, preventing it from plunging into the abyss of barbarism, physical and moral, and forged the Man we know today as much as the sciences did. He has allowed us to speak, visualize and tell and has always been the bridge between the millennia, even with civilizations prior to ours.

Failure to respect a fundamental field such as the Art for the Life of Being, is an indicator of how far we are moving away from what man has always aspired to reach: the peaks closest to the divine, the overcoming of his nature for generate the New Human. So, every time someone belittles art, downgrading it to entertainment, relegating it to a corner without considering it a fundamental activity that as such deserves its recognition and attention, remember what we will encounter by losing the culture that distinguishes us.

Every Being is infinite, but in the finitude in which we exist, a flash is needed to remind us of that infinity from which we come and to which we will return.
